The filtering anti-aerosol respirator should be used. The filtration class of the respirator must be P3, it has a red color coding – i.e. some part of the respirator should be red – the color of the plastic on the valve, the braided head stripes, or some other strips or patches. It should be noted, though, that not all manufacturers follow the same color coding. Therefore, first of all you need to pay attention to the protection class (P3).

If you use half-face filtering masks of the 3rd class, then their alphabetic marking is FFP3, and the color marking is also red. In addition to this marking on the half-face masks there are letters NR (one-time use, non-reusable) or R (reusable).
